Because of your generosity, seven containers of wheelchairs arrived in the Dominican Republic, Honduras, Uganda, Pakistan, China, and Vietnam. More wheelchairs are en route to Nicaragua, Paraguay, Argentina, and Ghana.
Ambassadors Lifting Lives
Our ambassadors have been active all over the country. Among them were Avery and Hannah (above), who sold handmade jewelry to raise funds for five wheelchairs!
Other ambassador activities include a drive-up lemonade stand fundraiser by the Felix family, which raised funds for 18 wheelchairs; a fundraiser by the Cornerstone Singles Group at Mariners Church, which funded 86 wheelchairs; a virtual run for mobility headed by ambassador Michelle Trieu at Western University, raising funds for eight wheelchairs; and a fundraiser by ambassador Jeff Abbott and Chino Valley Community Church, which funded 206 wheelchairs.
And, because these ambassador activities took place during October’s x2 Gift Challenge, their gifts were doubled, doubling the number of lives transformed by the gift of a wheelchair!
Thank you for a job well done, Free Wheelchair Mission ambassadors!

1 Pizza Oven = 2 Wheelchairs
Free Wheelchair Mission ambassador Kirk Laing, the owner of Tuscan Imports, donates a wheelchair for every backyard pizza oven sold on their website. Sales soared to fund 625 wheelchairs, and because it was October, this gift was doubled to provide a total of 1,250 wheelchairs!
Seattle’s Miracle of Mobility
This streaming event, featuring special guests Jim Zorn and Dave Irish (above), set out to raise funds for 1,000 wheelchairs.
But thanks to the generosity of our community in the greater Seattle area, and because their gift was doubled in October’s x2 Gift Challenge, a total of 2,187 wheelchairs are being provided to individuals living with disabilities in developing countries!

Surpassing Our Goal for x2
Our goal for October’s x2 Gift Challenge was to raise funds to provide 16,000 wheelchairs. Thanks to the generosity of friends like you and the anonymous donors who doubled your gifts, we not only reached this goal—we surpassed it!
Because of you, 19,613 individuals living with disabilities in developing countries are receiving the gift of a new wheelchair!
