Children and adults with disabilities are often the hardest hit in emergency situations like the storms in the Caribbean and the Pacific.

The impact to those without mobility living in Haiti, Jamaica, the Philippines, and other developing countries is unimaginable. They lack the mobility to move away from danger or to seek out medical care and often have underlying health conditions that place them at great risk.

Family members, care providers, doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers in these areas urgently need wheelchairs, essential medical supplies, and mobility aids to care for these children and adults with disabilities. At times like these, they often are working tirelessly to save lives.

"Thanks to Free Wheelchair Mission, we have been able to reach a large number of individuals who are in need of chairs in these challenging times."
