Because of your generosity, seven containers of wheelchairs arrived in the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Ecuador, Eswatini, and Pakistan, with more wheelchairs on the way to Jamaica.

Diomede (59, Burundi) has hardly ever been outdoors for the better part of 10 years.
A terrible road accident left him with paralysis from the waist down. He couldn’t move without assistance, and at 154 pounds, he was too heavy for anyone to carry. “I was like a dead person. It was so hard to carry me when I wanted to go to the hospital.”

New Partnership in Haiti

Our new distribution partners, Walkabout Foundation Haiti and Hope Health Action, received their first container of wheelchairs from Free Wheelchair Mission in early February. After importing and storing the boxed kits at their facilities, they received wheelchair training remotely by our Programs team.
