Wayne Twigg

With over three decades of experience spanning finance and technology, Wayne brings a wealth of expertise to his role as director of finance at Free Wheelchair Mission, which he joined in 2022. His career has taken him across the globe, with notable tenures at EY, Santander Bank plc, and Wycliffe Bible Translators.

Educated in Africa, Wayne holds degrees in accounting and finance and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. His international background is reflected not only in his professional journey but also in his personal story — having relocated with his family from South Africa to California in 2019.

When he steps away from the office, Wayne embraces the California wilderness, finding joy backpacking through the Sierra Nevada. He and his wife are proud parents of three, with their two eldest children married, and are deeply rooted in their local church community.
