Wheelchair Distribution in Guatemala
June 10–25, 2020
Our distribution partner in Guatemala, Faith in Practice, unloaded a container of wheelchairs on June 10th and began to distribute them, even in the midst of challenges posed by the pandemic.
Virtual Run for Mobility
June 12–22, 2020
A record number of runners joined #TeamMobility this year, raising funds to provide a container of 550 wheelchairs! Congratulations to everyone who walked, ran, hiked, or cycled to help transform lives with the gift of a wheelchair.
Training in Mexico
June 19–20, 2020
Our medical programs team remotely trained around 20 participants from Urban Mosaic, our new distribution partner in Mexico. Training covers topics including an overview of Free Wheelchair Mission, assessment of potential wheelchair recipients, measurements and recommendations, wheelchair assembly and adjustments, and wheelchair user training.
