Howard’s great passion in life is to bring healing to people who have been marginalized and been put through traumatic experiences. Specifically passionate about children, Howard pursued a career in the nonprofit sector and began his work with the In-N-Out Burger Foundation in 2006. Dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect, the Foundation provides funding to nonprofit organizations working with these often vulnerable children.
Before becoming the Executive Director of the Foundation, Howard worked for In-N-Out Burger in the Customer Service Department for 4 years and at an In-N-Out Burger restaurant an additional 4 years. Well-versed in nonprofit organizations, he has guest lectured at Vanguard University, Concordia University, California State University, Fullerton, California State University, San Bernardino, and California State University, San Marcos.
His educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in leadership from Vanguard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from California State University, Fullerton. In his spare time, Howard loves to spend time with his out of his league wife, Marissa, and sons, Elijah and Marcus. He loves to play, coach, and referee sports and enjoys volunteering in his community with causes that he believes in. He is a decent cook, a washed-up athlete, and an especially gifted napper. Howard is a recovering ice cream addict and the best of him is yet to come. He resides in Lake Forest with his family and attends Saddleback Church.
