Thanks to your prayers and support, eight containers of wheelchairs arrived at ports in China, Ecuador, El Salvador, Eswatini, Nicaragua, Paraguay, and Vietnam in November. Soon, 4,030 individuals with disabilities in these countries will soon receive the gift of a wheelchair.
Wheelchairs Reach Ukraine
In partnership with Invacare Europe, Free Wheelchair Mission sent more than 1,000 Invacare Action 1R wheelchairs to Ukraine.
These wheelchairs safely arrived at a warehouse in L’viv, Ukraine and are being distributed to individuals in the country.
As the ongoing war continues to cause devastation and people with disabilities are often most vulnerable in situations like this, we continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers.
Free Wheelchair Mission was an exhibitor at the Mission ConneXion Southwest conference held at The Grove in Chandler, Arizona. There, members of our team including Foundations and Grants Manager Monica Finifrock (above, right) connected with some amazing church representatives and other missions-based organizations in the greater Phoenix area.

Story of a Life Transformed
Nancy (10, Kenya) was born with spina bifida, a condition in which the spine and spinal cord do not form properly while in the womb. She has never been able to walk.
Her supportive parents do whatever they can to help their beloved daughter live her life to its fullest. They wished for her to have a wheelchair, which would make it much easier for her to go to school, but they just could not afford one on their modest earnings.
But that isn’t the end of Nancy’s story. Read more on our blog.
New Wheelchairs in the Dominican Republic
Asociación Dominicana de Rehabilitación (ADR), one of our distribution partners in the Dominican Republic, unloaded a container of 488 wheelchairs that they will soon distribute to those in need.
ADR sends their thanks to you for all the support—as do we! Together, we have distributed nearly 20,000 wheelchairs throughout the country over the years.
Celebration in Ecuador
Fundación Vista Para Todos, our distribution partner in Ecuador, celebrated not only because they received a shipment of 488 wheelchairs, but also because Ecuador won the opening game of the 2022 World Cup!
Thanks to your generosity, Free Wheelchair Mission has shipped nearly 29,000 wheelchairs to Ecuador over the years.
Quality Assurance in Guatemala
Regional Program Coordinator Ilse Caballeros (above, right) visited Faith In Practice, one of our distribution partners in Guatemala, to review and assess their wheelchair program. By making sure that our wheelchairs are safely and appropriately provided to those who need them, these visits to our distribution partners ensure the impactful use of donations to Free Wheelchair Mission.
