Thanks to your generosity, nine containers of wheelchairs arrived in China, Jamaica, Pakistan, Rwanda, and Vietnam, and will soon transform 4,672 lives!
More containers are en route to Costa Rica, El Salvador, Ghana, Guatemala, and Mexico.
A Life Transformed in Costa Rica

Michael had been on his way to work as a day laborer on a banana farm in Costa Rica when a car crash cost him his mobility.
Although the accident broke his back, it did not break his spirit. Michael was determined to do the best that he could under the circumstances—and your gift of a wheelchair is empowering him to move on with his life.

VBS Kids Transforming Lives
July 8-15, 2022
Two California churches partnered with Free Wheelchair Mission for VBS (Vacation Bible School) in July: Chino Valley Community Church (pictured above), which raised the most funds ever for their annual VBS, and Saint Michael and All Angels in Corona Del Mar.

Houston’s Miracle of Mobility Live

Houston’s Miracle of Mobility, which was held at Station 3 on July 13th, raised funds to provide more than 1,020 new wheelchairs to individuals in need in developing countries around the world.

Vermont resident and new Free Wheelchair Mission board member Sefakor Komabu-Pomeyie, PhD (above; second from left) was in town for Miracle of Mobility Live and visited our office for the first time, engaging in several strategic meetings with the team.

Held virtually as well as in person at regional events in Costa Mesa, California and Thomasville, North Carolina, Miracle of Mobility Live raised more than $1.92 million, providing mobility to more than 20,000 individuals!

New Distribution Partner

Please welcome our newest distribution partner, Diversity Action Network (DAN) Somaliland! DAN is slated to receive their first shipment of wheelchairs from us sometime during this fiscal year, expanding our network’s reach in Africa.
