Wheelchair Arrivals

June 2021

Thanks to your generosity, 12 containers of wheelchairs arrived in Brazil, China, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Kenya, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Uganda, and Vietnam.

Because of you, 6,142 individuals living with disabilities in these places will soon receive the life-transforming gift of mobility!

Wheelchair Training in El Salvador

Our local distribution partner, FUSAL, led wheelchair training in El Salvador, training others to correctly assemble and fit our wheelchairs for the safety and comfort of every wheelchair recipient.

Recipient Story from Costa Rica

Ericka (39) was born in Nicaragua and now lives in neighboring Costa Rica.

When she was just 20 years old, Ericka was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, a progressive autoimmune disease. She has gradually lost mobility to chronic pain ever since but has never let this condition defeat her.

Container Unloaded in Mexico

June 12

Urban Mosaic México, one of our local distribution partners, unloaded a container of boxed wheelchair kits that had arrived at port on May 29. They expressed their gratitude to everyone who helped make this shipment possible.

Distributing Hope in Guatemala

Our partner, Hope Haven, distributed wheelchairs along with copies of the Gospel of John, published in Spanish by The Pocket Testament League.

Kids Raise 100 Wheelchairs at VBS

Don Schoendorfer spoke on the last day of Vacation Bible School at Rockharbor Church in Costa Mesa, California, where the kids raised enough funds to provide 100 new wheelchairs!
