Wheelchair Arrivals

December 2022

Thanks to your generosity, 20 containers of wheelchairs arrived at their destinations during the month of December. Soon, 10,420 lives will be transformed in Brazil, China, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Kenya, Pakistan, Somaliland, South Sudan, and Vietnam.


Mobility Presentations

December 2

Free Wheelchair Mission held a presentation at Influencers OC (pictured above), a men’s group of about 60-70 that meets in Irvine, California. Afterwards, the group asked us to share this message: “Bless you for doing such a great work!”

That same day, Free Wheelchair Mission also presented at the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce Nonprofit Forum in Carlsbad, California.


Meaningful Gifts

Many thanks to La Jolla Community Church for hosting a table for us at their Alternative Christmas Fair in La Jolla, California.

A Story from the Dominican Republic

Nicasio, age 58, used to work hard as a farmer to provide for the family but had to stop when complications from diabetes and an infected wound led to the amputation of his left leg.

Container Arrival in Brazil

December 15

The Rotary Club of Maringá—Parque do Ingá, a distribution partner of ours in Brazil, received and unloaded two containers of wheelchairs. To date, we have shipped nearly 10,000 wheelchairs to our distribution partners in Brazil.


Our Partnership in Jamaica

December 19

Food For the Poor, our distribution partner in Jamaica, issued a press release about their partnership with us, which began in 2014 and has transformed more than 36,000 lives with the gift of mobility.
