In light of recent events in our country, and now across the globe, I thought it would be timely to write to you.

I am doing so to express the importance our organization has always placed in recognizing the value of every person we are called to serve through our mission.

From the start, Free Wheelchair Mission has sought to honor the belief that we are all created in God’s image and are thus all deserving of being treated with dignity. The foundation of our work is to lift people up from the ground by showing compassion and love no matter the race, nationality, religion, or circumstance of the individual in need.

As recent conversations about race and injustice have brought on great sadness, anger, and frustration, our prayer is that conversations will lead to lasting solutions.

On behalf of our founder, Don, and our team, we continue to thank you for supporting our efforts to be uplifting.

By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:35 NIV)

With gratitude,

Nuka Solomon
