We asked each one if they ever thought they would receive a wheelchair. Oddly enough, Adam said “yes”, then Aparo said “yes”, and next in line, Propanado also said “yes”. We thought our interpreter was making a mistake, as we did not anticipate these answers. So we went back to ask why. Each said they knew they would get a wheelchair because they had been faithfully praying for one. Propanado had been praying for his for 15 years. One definition of faith is believing in something that cannot be seen. These three had no way to see how they would ever get a wheelchair. They were extremely happy, but they were not surprised. We were, and we remain moved by their faith! |
