This organization accepts cars on behalf of other non-profit NGOs and foundations. Vehicles for Charity oversees the disposal of the car, the distribution of collected funds, and all tax procedures related to the donation.  

When you donate your car to Vehicles for Charity any post-1997 automobiles that are able to be auctioned are picked up from your home and towed to the nearest auction house. Free Wheelchair Mission will receive 60% of the total obtained value of the car. The remaining 40% will pay for the towing and the 10% auction fee, with the remaining +25% going to ARC to support their work in the developmentally disabled community in the U.S.A.

If a car can not be auctioned, it will be towed to the nearest salvage yard and sold for parts or steel. This generally yields $150-300 for Free Wheelchair Mission. After you have made your donation, Vehicles for Charity will assist you with all of the necessary tax documents. FWM will receive a check on the 15th of the following month.
